Hi, I am Sachin Bharti from New Delhi but my heart followed the mountains. Himachal, with its majestic Himalayas, became my escape, my sanctuary. For 12 years, I explored its hidden corners, eventually reaching Malana, a mystical village in Parvati Valley.There I found myself making tea in an empty homestay. Touched by my simple act, the owner welcomed me with open arms and I stayed for 10 days, working in his kitchen, sharing stories.Malana became my calling. I left my Delhi corporate life behind, ran his guesthouse for two years, and finally, opened my own – The Goonj Homestay.There I hosted people for 10 amazing years and now I opened a new homestay in Manali with my darling wife, Shruti Oza.About Manali, located in the heart of old Manali, the Goonj is a peaceful and quiet place surrounded by apple orchards with 360° view of the Himalayas.
